To become a Brain Frequency™ Affiliate, we try to make this process as smooth as possible to start a new clinic or for Brain Frequency™ to be an addition to your existing office. You will be provided with direction and guidance every step of the way - from the initial necessary documentation and equipment ordering, to training and 4-6 weekly virtual meetings. Support will always be available via email as well. Contact us today to speak with Shannon, Sabrina, and Lindsey about getting started.
Lead time can be anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months depending on machine availability. To optimize this time, we collect all necessary information and schedule your team's training accordingly. No time is lost between the 2-week training at HQ and the first client that walks through your door.
Since Brain Frequency™ is able to treat a wide array of mental health, neurological disorders, and cognitive functioning, we've separated our abilities into two distinct practices. One is for mental health and medical practitioners to treat DSM-5 diagnosable issues like depression, bipolar disorder, concussions, and the like. The other is for functional medicine and wellness, used to treat things like general sleep issues, mental fog, trouble with short term memory, tinnitus, etc. You can see more about this distinction on the Affiliate Program page.
If your clinic is approved to bill insurance, you will have the ability to bill for EEGs, treatment, and if necessary, EKG.
With a single setup in a dedicated room, about 80 appointments can be completed in an 8 hour, 5 day week.
Training will take place over two weeks at HQ in Canyon Lake, Texas. This will be best used for the technician that will lead or train future employees as well. Training will be hands on and in depth regarding treatments, EEGs, Brain Frequency™ software, and client care. In addition, provider training can be virtual or in person in less than a day, learning how to review EEGs and progress reports. There will also be virtual meetings set weekly for the first 4-6 weeks of your Brain Frequency™ launch to review current cases.
There are very few incidents where someone will not be a candidate. Treatments include the use of (painless) magnetic stimulation, so those with a history of seizures, ferrous metal or hardware in the head or neck, pacemakers , spinal or bladder stimulators should not undergo this treatment. Though the risk is extremely small, there have been a few reports of seizures with TMS devices (1 in 3 million). There are no known adverse cognitive or long-term effects associated with TMS therapy. However, as a relatively new treatment, unforeseen long-term risks may exist. The risks of exposure to TMS or TMS-like therapies during pregnancy are unknown.
The TMS machine and the EEG cap are both FDA Approved. Clinical Trials began in Spring 2022.
